As a mother, my journey began with a desire to make conscious choices for my family. In my search for eco-friendly solutions, I fell in love with cloth diapers—not just for their practicality but for their sustainability. What started as a passion evolved into a dream to create a diaper brand that aligned with my values of quality, care, and responsibility.
In 2020, as the world changed, I noticed more families seeking independence and environmentally conscious lifestyles. Witnessing empty store shelves and the impact of disposable diapers, I realized it was time to make cloth diapers mainstream. Most parents are unaware of how easy, fun, and sustainable modern cloth diapering can be. That’s when I decided to turn my passion into Heritage Hug, focusing on offering premium-quality diapers and inserts with sustainability at their core.
Our Vision
At Heritage Hug, every diaper is crafted with a deep commitment to our planet and your baby’s comfort. We use natural, sustainable fibers like TENCEL™ Terry and organic cotton, as well as recycled polyester (RPET TPU) for our waterproof diaper shells and accessories. These materials offer long-lasting performance, breathability, and are kinder to the environment.We’re constantly striving to reduce waste and make mindful, eco-conscious decisions while delivering stylish, functional diapers that work for real families.
While the inserts are proudly made in France, the diapers are ethically manufactured in China, where we have partnered with Sedex and BSCI-audited suppliers. Our commitment to transparency ensures that our customers receive safe, ethically produced products. We continue striving toward reducing our carbon footprint and exploring more partnerships with European manufacturers.
Fabrics & Certifications
We’re proud that our materials meet the highest safety standards. Our manufacturers have provided us with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification for all fabrics used in our diapers, ensuring they are free from harmful chemicals and safe for babies. We also hold GOTS® certification for our organic cotton and hemp fabrics, and our waterproof laminated fabrics (RPET TPU) are certified to the Global Recycled Standard®.
All the above certifications come from independent, third-party inspections performed at the factory level to give you peace of mind. While the fabrics are certified, the final diaper product itself has not yet undergone its own certification.
Our inserts, made from TENCEL™ Terry in France, are directly licensed by Lenzing™ , a leader in eco-friendly materials, and their supply chain has been verified for sustainability.
